Here are some of my favourite plants which i’m sharing with u all. Hope u would like them. Here’s presenting, the purple heart, inch plant, small-leaf spider wort, callisia/ tradescantia zebrina.
Tradescantia zebrina is native to Mexico. It is a very popular trailing plant. Where winter hardy, it is commonly grown as a groundcover that roots at the nodes as stems spread along the ground. Foliage typically grows to 6” tall, but creeps to 2′ wide or more if allowed to do so.
The tradescantia Zebrina will thrive in bright, indirect light. You may place your plant in a spot that receives bright but filtered light, like a north-facing window or a shaded area of a south-facing window. Avoid putting your plant in direct sunlight, as it can cause the leaves to burn and wilt.
How to grow Trades SCANTIA ZEBRINA
• Use a well-draining potting mix.
• Let it shine in a hanging basket.
• Give it plenty of indirect light to keep its stripes.
• Don’t allow T. zebrina to get too dry between waterings.
• Feed it plant food to give it a boost.
• Pinch back leggy stems to encourage new, fuller growth.
• Grow more T. zebrina by placing cuttings in water or soil.
